After Dark

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice, I am using one by the amazing Kurama Phoenix, you need a license to use his tubes, you can find out all about that HERE
Scrap kit of choice, I'm using one by Candy's Treats called After Dark, you can find this kit HERE
Mask of choice

Let's Begin!

Start out by opening frame1
Hit shift D on your keyboard and close the original
On the new image, resize all layers to 556x700
Now go to Image, Canvas Size and change it too 715x715
Select your magic wand tool, make sure tolerance is at 20 and feather 0, mode add and contiguous checked
Select the inside parts of the frame
Now go to Selections, Modify, Expand
Expand your selection by 10 pixels
Add paperafterdarkclouds1 below your frame
Resize by 75% uncheck all layers
Invert your selection and hit delete
Invert your selection again
Add your tube below your frame
Duplicate your tube and change the top layers blend mode to soft light
Add a drop shadow of your choice to your frame and tube layers
Add a new layer and send to the bottom
Select all and paste paper15 into your selection
Select none
Apply mask of choice
Merge group
Duplicate your mask as desired
Add any other embellishments you like
Resize each to your liking
Add any dropshadows of choice
Add your name and any copyright info you need

Save as png!

Sugar Sugar

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice, I am using one by the amazing Martin Abel, you need a license to use his tubes, you can find out all about that HERE
Scrap kit of choice, I'm using one by TammyKat called Sugar Rush, you can find this kit HERE
I also used a ftu cluster made with Tammy's kit by Christene, which you can download on her blog HERE
Mask of choice

Let's Begin!

Start out by opening her cluster frame freebie
Hit ctrl D on your keyboard and close the original
On the new image, resize all layers to 700x700
Select your magic wand tool, make sure tolerance is at 20 and feather 0, mode add and contiguous checked
Select the inside parts of the frame
Now go to Selections, Modify, Expand
Expand your selection by 10 pixels
Add paper3 below your frame
Resize by 75% uncheck all layers
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Add your tube as the top layer and position *use my tag as reference*
Duplicate your tube and change the top layers blend mode to soft light
Add a drop shadow of your choice to your frame and tube layers
Add your tube closeup between the cluster and inner frame paper
Change the blend mode to overlay and drop the opacity to around 70 or so
Erase the bits that overhand the frame :)
Add a new layer and send to the bottom
Select all and paste paper6 into your selection
Select none
Apply mask of choice
Merge group
Duplicate your mask as desired
Add any other embellishments you like
I used the following
element10b, element10c, element14, element18c, and element18b
Resize each to your liking
Add any dropshadows of choice
Add your name and any copyright info you need

Save as png!

Funny Valentine

Let's Begin!

Start out by opening her cluster frame freebie
Hit ctrl D on your keyboard and close the original
On the new image, resize all layers to 700x635
Select your magic wand tool, make sure tolerance is at 20 and feather 0, mode add and contiguous checked
Select the inside parts of the frame
Now go to Selections, Modify, Expand
Expand your selection by 10 pixels
Add paper3 below your frame
Resize by 75% uncheck all layers
Invert your selection and hit delete
Invert your selection again
Add your tube between your layers
Reposition to your liking
Invert your selection one more time
Hit delete on your tube layer
Select none
Add a drop shadow of your choice to your frame and tube layers
Add a new layer and send to the bottom
Select all and paste paper7 into your selection
Select none
Apply mask of choice
Merge group
Duplicate your mask as desired
Add any other embellishments you like
Add any dropshadows of choice
Add your name and any copyright info you need

Save as png!

Trashy Love

Scrapkit of choice, I am using a great kit by Rabid Designz called This Love, which you can find it HERE
Optional plugins: Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow

Let's Begin!

Open your template
Hit shift d and close the original
Delete all top merged layers and raster 1
Colorize layers bottom merged, raster 3, raster 6 to match your kit
Select raster 4
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper7 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete raster 4
Repeat for raster 7
Select copy of raster 4
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper13 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete copy of raster 4
Select raster 5
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper12 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete raster 5
Select raster 2
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper8 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete middle merged
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper10 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete middle merged
Add noise of choice to raster 6 and bottom merged
Apply Eye Candy Gradient Glow to both top merged layers
I changed my width to 4 and used these settings on the second tab
I also used a dark color from the kit I am using :)



Add your tube of choice
Resize and position as desired
Add any elements you like
Resize and position
Add any dropshadows you like
Crop and resize as desired
Add your name and copyright
Resize as desired
Save!

Open your template
Hit shift d and close the original
Delete credits and background
Colorize layers 11, 9, 8, & 1 to match your kit
Select 12
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper5 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete 12
Repeat for 10 & 3
Select 7
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper2 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete 7
Select 5
Select all, float, and defloat
Paste paper3 as a new layer
Invert your selection and hit delete
Select none
Delete 5
Add noise of choice to 1 & 6 & 4
